Somatic Psychotherapy
At Holding the Space, I offer one-on-one Somatic Psychotherapy tailored to help you navigate back to wellbeing. Using a blend of evidence-based therapies and holistic approaches, I’m here to support your journey toward healing and lasting change. You might be dealing with:
Generalised Anxiety
Childhood Trauma
Complex PTSD
The effects of ongoing and chronic early traumas.
PTSD
A lingering reaction to a shock trauma that is impacting your quality of life today.
Depression and/or Suicidality
Feeling low, down, numb or like you see no reason to live.
Social Anxiety
Fear of social interactions or public spaces.
Panic Disorder
Debilitating panic attacks.
Insomnia
Trouble sleeping due to racing thoughts.
Relational or Interpersonal Problems
Struggles in relationships, like difficulty setting boundaries or recovering from narcissistic abuse.
Health-Related Anxiety and/or Depression
Physical symptoms such as sensory sensitivities, chronic pain, fatigue, or autoimmune conditions can feed into anxiety and low mood. These are often signs of an overworked nevours system needing support.
Vestibular Symptoms and Tinnitus Distress
Vertigo, dizziness and tinnitus can feel overwhelming. The nervous system’s reaction to these conditions heightens distress and perpetuates the symptoms in many cases. When we work with the stress response, the anxiety softens… and for many people, the sypmtoms begin to fade into the background. You can read more about my approach to tinnutus distress here.

“What does it mean to hold space for someone else? It means that we are willing to walk alongside another person in whatever journey they’re on without judging them, making them feel inadequate, trying to fix them, or trying to impact the outcome. When we hold space for other people, we open our hearts, offer unconditional support, and let go of judgement and control.”
